“After you’ve chosen who, time to choose where. I’ll bring the flowers”

Welcome to my venue directory page. A space to find some inspiration of where you might choose to throw your big occasion. Here are some of my favourites I’ve been lucky enough to visit and work at, and all the things I loved about each and every one.

Kin House, Chippenham

This venue is for the uber stylish with decoration to make you smile and skip a bit around every turn. A shell grotto and perfectly pink dressing room is always going to be a winner in my book. I love their attention to detail, right down to the luxurious Verden scent following you around in each of their salons and stairways.

With a generously sized party hall, this is a great knees up location with enough bars for a late night negroni tour. I love their garden room too offering a different mood of cermeony, as well as their out door locations for those sunnier days. The staff dressed in stylish gingham shirts are always offering fantastic friendly service (and the breakfast looks great too). I can’t wait to be back flowering this gem. Here’s a link.

North Cadbury Court, Somerset

North Cadbury Court is an incredibly well oiled machine. It is well and truly kitted out for a fun filled elegant wedding. From lake house water sports to grass tennis courts and a night club. During my installation day, I love watching guests strolling around in their dressing gowns on the way back from a swim in the run up to the party.

With a large ballroom and great hall as well as their own stunning church, you don’t need to leave the driveway for a show stopping wedding. You’re truly in safe hands here surrounded by classical country house beauty and lots of fun. Here’s a link.

forde abbey, chard

This privately owned 900 year old former monastery is dripping with interesting features. Not only has it got the highest powered fountain in England, but an array of ceremony and reception spots to make your heart sing.

I loved hearing the catering team busying away in the old kitchen preparing for the wedding, just as it would have been hundreds of years ago. The great hall, with its bold terracotta panelling (the perfect backdrop to flowers by the way) would be a stunning ceremony or feasting setting. It has it’s own chapel flooded with beautiful light and gardens to lose yourself in. Thick beds of seasonal blooms are always on offer and perfect for your post wedding photoshoot. The talented gardening team give a show right through peak wedding season. I have to say their Tulips at the start of the season and Dahlias at the end are my personal favourites.

A must for couples who love an impressive garden for guests to enjoy and enjoy a bit of English history too. Here’s a link

Pennard House, Somerset

Tucked away in blissful Somerset Countryside, you’ll find this superb venue with so much to offer. With a Parish church at the bottom of it’s garden it caters to a traditional English wedding beautifully where guests walk up the lawn without having to play Jenga with their cars. Alternatively there is a beautiful lawn and Pergola for a pretty as a picture outdoor ceremony. Then to top it all off, large converted stables kitted out for a right old knees up. I love decorating Pennard’s famous staircase. It suits modern and traditional decoration and have a team to greet you with open arms. So looking forward to flowering this gem again! Here’s a link.

Warmwell HOuse

Set in exquisite Dorset countryside you’ll find this quirky quintessential English Country house. Run with love by Serena and Sam, this family home keeps an exclusive feel hosting under ten weddings a year. Their homely attention to detail features on every corner. Pear trees and interiors to die for with roll top baths, oak panelling and bright and airy rooms to get ready in. You can choose between marquees on manicured lawns, the on site Parish church and a party barn to dance the night away in. I particularly loved the crab apple avenue, a perfect spot for a beautiful long aisle for your ceremony, and the kitchen garden full of seasonal blooms. A guaranteed photogenic wedding! Heres a link.

Treberfydd house, crickhowell

Here you will find a venue like something from a story book. This impressive family home is set in a magical luscious valley complete with charming farm animals roaming the gardens in the run up to your big day. The Brecon Beacons really do provide a stunning location for a weekend away for all your guests.

With multiple ceremony locations, from the rose garden or the handsome panelled hall, to the beautiful Orangerie full of scented plants. It truly does cover all different styles. I loved flowering here with Treberfydd’s lovely owner Sally who balances her family home feel and wedding venue services perfectly. Here’s a link.
